Winners Announced!

On Thursday March 20, 2014 over 800 of the leading names in lighting design, manufacturing and architecture gathered at the London Hilton, Park Lane to see who would take home this year’s Lighting Design Award. After another record breaking year for entries and an astounding shortlist, the judges had their work cut out in picking the most deserving winners.

Experience the night itself:

Ben Cronin, editor of Lighting commented:
“This year we’ve seen an increased number of entries from international lighting design firms, particularly from the Far East and Germany and it was excellent to meet them in the room last night. We are also starting to see a large number of 100 per cent LED lighting schemes. Our judges had such a tough time this year deciding on the winners. With more people in the room than ever before, the Lighting Design Awards continues to be the biggest night in the lighting calendar.”

The 2014 awards were filled with excitement from free running, to glow stick selfies through to an 80’s themed after party complete with props! Visit our Flickr Site to see photos from the night (see Photobooth Pictures here code: lda2014).

Congratulations once again to this year's winners and finalists, who have all demonstrated that they are leading the way in the Lighting industry.
